My spinnaker pole is 74" end to end. I cannot help with the uphaul as it is a function of setting the correct height for the desired sail shape. Pleae let me know if I am not correct. Markby mordway - sailmfg
I made my bushings from pvc sprinkler pipe. I slotted the rings so I could still get screw drivers in to take out the centerboard pin. I also took a section of a plastic bottle which made a perfect fit around the pin where it goes through the hole in the centerboard. I held my pvc shims in with a little Marine Tex epoxy, knowing that if this did not work well that it would take little effort tby mordway - sailmfg
Paul, What do we need to do to get out Bandit 15 registered and "on the map"? Markby mordway - sailmfg
The boom vang looks good. I switched my Bandit over to a conventional small boat vang for the same reason. I also had alot of play in my centerboard. I made two bushings to remove most of the play. I have not decided if it was the right thing to do or not but everything seems to be working o.k. Markby mordway - sailmfg
I have a spinnaker with my Bandit 15 although I have no way of knowing if it the original design for the boat. Hope this information helps. Foot of the sail measures 127" from one end to the other. Each leech measures 192" from the top of the head to the corner of the foot. Markby mordway - sailmfg
Paul, I sent the document. Let me know if it came through ok. Markby mordway - sailmfg
Paul, I couldn't get the attachment to go through. Is there a fax number I can send it to? Markby mordway - sailmfg
Paul, I still have yet to find the document that tells you how to set the mast rake for the Bandit 15 but hopefully this attachment will lend some new information for other Bandit 15 owners. Markby mordway - sailmfg
Paul, I am not sure if anything will come of it but there is a slight possibility that I might have a line on this illusive document. If so, I will let you know. Markby mordway - sailmfg
Paul and dmday3000, Thank you for your responses. I am familiar with the shroud adjusters and the jib halyard pin bracket. There are a number of holes for each and I am never quite sure when the pins should be in which position for which condition. We probably sail with our mast straight up and down too. I would still like to see what "Sailing the Bandit 15" has to say. Thby mordway - sailmfg
Are there any Bandit 15 owners who can help with this question?by mordway - sailmfg
We recently purchased a Bandit 15 and after reviewing the rigging instructions noticed that there was a reference to a set of instructions called "Sailing the Bandit 15" which has information for setting the mast rake. Is there anyone who could provide this information? We would love to add it to the documentation we have on hand. Markby mordway - sailmfg
