It is the furling type. I'll let you have it if you are anywhere near NE Ohioby JAB - classifieds
I don't have one for sale but you can use mine to take some measurements if you want to make your own, perhaps out of plywood.by JAB - classifieds
You can have it for free if you can come get it. I can ship it to you but due to the length, it might be pricy. I'm in Northeast Ohio. Where are you located? I do some traveling by car so our paths might intersect. Jeffby JAB - classifieds
Hi, Sorry, no center board for you but if you need to see one to get measurements to make your own, I'm a few miles north of you in Aurora with one I'm just putting away for winter. Jeffby JAB - classifieds
I still have the jib mechanism. I am using the extra boom for parts so its no longer available except as a bare tube.by JAB - classifieds
I purchased a Sidewinder a few years ago and only get out on it a few times a year. I live in NE Ohio which appears to have been a hot spot for Sidewinders back in their day. Even less so after a couple of weeks ago, the boom detached from the mast after turning turtle and the sailby JAB - sailmfg
I made the disks on my jib furler by cutting them out of the top of two 5-gallon plastic pails. The thick plastic was easy to cut with a Dremel and they seem durable so far. the person I purchased my sidewinder from had to replace his mast collar. He had it machined so hopefully it will last. The collar must be a problem area with this boat. Jeffby JAB - sailmfg
Both used, the jib mechanism is in fair shape and needs to have a new plastic disk cut for it. I'm in northern Ohio. Make me an offer if interested and willing to pickup.by JAB - classifieds
