My Pintail has no hardware to secure the rode (Rope) of the anchor. I was hoping someone would share an Idea that they really liked. Quick Question: What is the best way to secure the ancor rode to a Pintail for an evening Gunkhole. I'ver heard to loop mast but it is stepped almost 18 inches below the foredeck, I think it would chafe the top.by gorouser - sailmfg
My 1976 Pintail has spreaders. They are 26" long aluminum tube. 1/2" diameter round that transitions to 12" square where it attaches to the mast. They are mounted at 93" from the bottom of the mast. Hello, I have a Pintail that I believe was manufactured in 1976. I'm in for the winter and doing repairs. The corner Bumpers on the port and starboard of the transom are broken. I'm am looking to replace them but am having no joy. I've been all over including West Marine and can't find anything to match. Does anyone have suggestions as to were to look to buy some.
