I have a Pintail that I believe was manufactured in 1976. I'm in for the winter and doing repairs. The corner Bumpers on the port and starboard of the transom are broken. I'm am looking to replace them but am having no joy. I've been all over including West Marine and can't find anything to match. Does anyone have suggestions as to were to look to buy some. They are Black Plastic and wrap around the corner and cover the aluminum and rubber bumper that surround the boat at the seam of the outer Hull and inner cockpit liner.
Second question. Does anyone know a trick to color match the white hull gelcoat? This is my first time working with gelcoat and there are several spots that need to be touched up. Do you just keep adding the colorant to the white gelcoat until you have some mixed that will match the existing hull?
