Hi MFG People,
I am the proud owner of a Bandit 17', albeit a very new one. I would like to hear from any other owners for ideas and tips about getting the boat performing well. The issues I have right now are getting the shrouds nice and tight, upgrading the running rigging, and expanding the sail repertoire.
Sailwise, I am thinking that i would like to add light wind performance. Does anyone have experience using a spinnaker with the Bandit? Are there options for a genoa or genniker?
Summer plans include a sailing vacation in Penobscot Bay along the coast of Maine. Anyone have experience sailing the Bandit out of protected waters? I am not a fool, but I would like to have an idea of the boats limits not based on my own mistakes.
