Copperhead tiller questions
July 03, 2008 07:16AM
Hello folks,

I have a 70s vintage Copperhead, and it's complete except for the tiller extension. There is no hole in the tiller handle, so I'm thinking I got part of a tiller. I could just drill a hole in the existing handle and make an extension, though that seems inelegant. Are there Copperhead parts out there somewhere? Or should I just manufacture something myself?

For whatever it's worth, I'm in Minneapolis, MN.

Thanks!

Bob

Bob, I can photo my extension if you would like, but it would be very easy to mfg. yourself. The extension is nothing more than alluminium tubing either 1/2" or 3/4" (guessing). The length is several inches shorter than the main tiller handle. It is simply attached with nuts and bolts. The end of the extension has a rubber cap that can be found most anywhere.
