I have an extra (clevis) fork end for the luff spar. I had a broken one on my Sidewinder and had an extra one made at the same time. This might even fit other MFG sailboats. If you're interested I can send a picture of it. The new end is machined from aluminum rather than casted like the original. I believe it is an improvement from the original design. I noticed that www.apsltd.com sells gasket material. I plan on replacing mine this summer, so I'm not sure how well it works. In my catalog it has a part# ss50, ss75 and ss150 depending on width. If anyone has replaced this on their boat and could vouch for how it works I would appreciate it. Jasonby Jason Malchow - sailmfg
I could send a paper template if you still need one. Jasonby Jason Malchow - sailmfg
If we could produce a list of owners who need these corners it would probably make it easier to justify making new ones. Hopefully there are more owners besides me who are interested. If so I do have one of the back corners and would just need the front nose piece to make duplicates. I like the idea of making them from aluminum. I was wondering what the aluminum corners look like. Are they madby Jason Malchow - sailmfg
I am just curious and am sure it varied over the years that it was produced. I just noticed there is a price list posted on the web site dated Sept. 1, 1972.by Jason Malchow - sailmfg
I have two Sidewinders and they are both missing the rubber/plastic corners that go around the hull. Every Sidewinder I've ever encountered has been missing or had damaged molding. I thought maybe someone who worked or knew someone who worked in the plastic business who could help.by Jason Malchow - sailmfg
I have a Sidewinder with sail #916 and a second one with sail #1271. I'm not too sure about the second number since I'm recalling the numbers from memory. Is there another way to tell with a hull number for example?by Jason Malchow - sailmfg
