I plan on adding a "Topping Lift" to my 1965 Whistler11. Most of the pictures I've seen include a more complicated set-up which includes multiple pulley's etc.. I'm thinking of simply attaching a 3/16" line from the end of the boom using a HB Shackle. On top of the mast I'll connect a small Micro Block pulley. Then at the bottom of the mast I'll need a cleat. My concerns are:by Goatman - sailmfg
I've got an old 1965 Whistler11 with original sails. The sail itself says: The John Parry Co. Hazel Park, Michigan Since 1923 Sail Makers Quality - Craftsmanship - Service Not sure what it's made of but I'd like to clean it. In very good shape but would like to clean it up. I've got a Whistler11 from 1965. Where is the 3 digit number you guys are referring to? She was in storage for ages which is why I still use the original sails etc.. Beautiful boat. Mitchby Goatman - sailmfg
