I have to RANT a bit about people who put carpeting inside boats as headliners. I suppose its not bad if they know what they are doing... but.... who knows what these people used as glue... then they globbed it on some spots and left other areas without enough... finally decided to bite the bullet and pull all the old carpet out... found a lot of mildew embeded in the carpet backing. Trying to find some way to get the contact cement off... I have been scraping ... even using a power scraper....Tried a wire brush, sand paper, scrubbing pads... hesitate to use solvents because of the enclosed space.... . ANY IDEAS?
