Help fixing up my old Sidewinder
August 12, 2008 02:08AM
Hi,
Sorry to post this again, but I could use some help
I have just recently inherited my old Sidewinder on which I learned to sail in the 1970s, but need to replace some parts inluding the jib roller furling. Where can I find the listing of the parts/plumbing parts to put one together?

Thanks

I also want to use the old sails for now and have been looking at the different sail repair tapes on the market. Are there any better than others for the type of material used to make the Sidewinder sails in the 1970s? The dacron sail repair tape seems to be a common tape available. Any comments?

Thanks - hope to be on the water before the end of the season.

Do you have any of the jib parts? The biggest challenge will be the end pieces. Let me know what parts you have and maybe we can go from there.
