I just found a pretty delapitated Whistler. The mast and sails are in good shape but he hull need some help. The largest problem at this point is the centerboard trunk. It seems like the metal center board has rattled around and broken the fiberglass retaining pieces. It looks like there are two positions the centerboard can be placed in. I would love to hear any advice about how to fix this. At the moment I am thinking I will cut off the trunk flush with the hull, rebuild the fiberglass pieces on the inside and glass it back on. Any suggestions. Thanks.
