Hello thank you for the mfg forum it is hard to find info on these sailboats. I had a 64 mfg powerboat and liked the construction. Now there is a 19' in a boatyard near me. I have been looking for a shoal daysailer so I have some questions about the mfg.
How is it to step and sail solo? Can it handle an open bay with 20kt winds and 3' waves. Does it heel, round off or lay over in a gust. How does it sail upwind. Is it safe to walk forward underway, the deck has a pretty good slope.
Does the hull liner limit bilge access and does the cockpit drain, if so where does the water go? thanks
